Our community is dedicated to the formation of men for the Roman Catholic diocesan priesthood through four interrelated dimensions: human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation.

Human Formation

As the foundation for the other three pillars, human formation is the necessary foundation with which to begin. “... the priest is to be a bridge and not an obstacle to others in their meeting with Jesus Christ...” (PDV #43)

Spiritual formation strives to establish a foundation within the seminarians for a lifetime of priestly ministry within the Church (PPF 107).

Intellectual formation helps the seminarians grasp Catholic intellectual/liturgical tradition, proclaim & teach the Gospel, and communicate the mystery of God to the people (PPF 136-139).
