A schola, or schola cantorum, is defined as a singing school for teaching and training in ecclesiastical chant, or a body of singers assembled for the purpose of rendering the music in church. Mount St. Mary's Seminary shares in musical celebration with our highly accomplished Seminary Vespers Schola, as well as several other scholas (Latin, Spanish, and Contemporary).
